One Mind relies on the generosity and partnership of donors like you to accelerate brain science and deliver new hope to those touched by brain injury and illness. There are a number of ways to make your gift.
Your Gift Can Transform Brain Health!
One Mind appreciates gifts of cash by way of checks and wire transfer. Additionally, gifts of $25,000 or more can be pledged up to five years. If you are interested in making a multi-year pledge to further brain research, or need information on how to wire a gift, please call (707) 963-4038.
Donating appreciated securities, including stocks and bonds, is an easy and tax-effective way for you to make a gift to One Mind. Benefits of giving gifts of stock and bonds include: Avoiding paying capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated stock and receiving a charitable income tax deduction.
In 2015, Congress enacted a permanent extension of the IRA charitable rollover. If you are 70 ½ or older you may be interested in a way to lower the income and taxes from your IRA withdrawal. Your broker can provide you with the form necessary to direct IRA funds to One Mind.
