
Dr. Andrew Pieper
Dr. Pieper’s work integrates psychiatry, neuroscience, and neuroprotection to develop strategies preserving brain health across neurodegenerative conditions.
Dr. Adrian Pieper is a board-certified psychiatrist and neuroscientist at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he is Professor, Morley Mather Chair in Neuropsychiatry, and Director of the Center for Brain Health Medicines at the Harrington Discovery Institute. He also practices at the Cleveland VA Medical Center, focusing on neurodegeneration and developing neuroprotective strategies to preserve brain health. Dr. Pieper earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins, where he also completed his psychiatry residency, and has been recognized with honors including the 2009 IMHRO Staglin Family Rising Star Research Award and election to the American Society for Clinical Investigation.
