Potassium Channels and Prediction Error: Targeting Schizophrenia with Retigabine. Yale University.

Dr. Corlett’s research is redefining how we understand delusional thinking, linking aberrant learning to psychiatric illness and identifying potential intervention points.

Dr. Philip Robert Corlett is a Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University whose research examines the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying delusional beliefs, predictive learning, habit formation, and addiction. He earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, studying the brain bases of delusion formation, and later trained at Yale as a Parke-Davis Exchange Fellow with Professors Jane Taylor and John Krystal. Recognized as a Rising Star and Future Opinion Leader, Dr. Corlett continues to investigate how aberrant learning processes contribute to psychiatric illness.
