Dr. Stephanie Dulawa is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego, whose research aims to develop fast-acting treatments for psychiatric disorders such as depression, OCD, schizophrenia, and autism spectrum disorder. Her lab investigates the neurobiological, genetic, and molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions, and has identified compounds with rapid antidepressant effects. Dr. Dulawa earned her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, where she was previously an Associate Professor, and is a recipient of the 2014 One Mind/Johnson & Johnson Rising Star Depression Research Award.
