In 2016, the National Institute of Health launched the Aurora study. Partially funded by One Mind, the study aims to understand post traumatic stress treatments and diagnosis so people can live their fullest lives. Dr. Vishnu Murty, Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Temple University and lead researcher on the Aurora Study, joins host Brandon Staglin to discuss the themes and goals of his research. We’re also joined by Anne Atkinson, Elizabeth Dole Foundation Fellow and Caregiver for her husband Dave, a US Marine Corps veteran, who sheds light on living with PTS symptoms and managing triggers.
