There is no hero quite like a family caregiver. Taking care of a family member with schizophrenia can be as challenging and bewildering as having the disease, as my family and I can attest. Now there is a new counseling support service for family caregivers of individuals with psychosis. Healios uses an online video “chat session” format to enable family members to speak with professional clinicians to resolve issues as they care for their loved one, and to strengthen their relationships, to better assist their loved one’s recovery.
