The Future of Mental Health Research is Bright
About the Summit
Through a series of focused and curated conversations, the Summit examines the future of the field, including what breakthroughs may be within reach, which scientific gaps remain, and how we can accelerate impact through new approaches to research, innovation, collaboration, and investment. The Summit is not only a forum for exchanging knowledge but also a space to collectively envision what the future of mental health science and real-world impact can look like.
Summit Goals
- Explore bold ideas, elevate emerging directions, and inspire a shared vision for the future of brain and mental health research.
- Foster meaningful cross-sector dialogue and connection among researchers, funders, innovators, advocates, and industry leaders.
- Celebrate scientific progress and discovery shaping the next era of mental health.
Celebrating 20+ Years of Investing in Bold Science
The 2025 Summit marked the twentieth anniversary of One Mind’s Rising Star Awards, a milestone that reflects two decades of support for bold, field-shaping researchers. Many of these leaders now guide national institutions and global mental health initiatives. This moment calls us to honor the journey so far and to imagine where we can go from here, together.
