What to Expect: Enjoy a beautiful stroll through the rolling hills and breathtaking views of Alma Rosa Vineyards while raising money for mental health research.
The annual Peace of Mind fundraising walk was launched in 2020 by Alma Rosa Proprietors Bob and Barb Zorich to support community services for mental health, as well as research on the causes, treatment and potential cures for anxiety and depression. Each year, participants gather at the base of Alma Rosa’s 628-acre estate to participate in the 10,000 step, approximately 4.5-mile, walk across the hillside vineyards.
Since 2020, Alma Rosa Winery has raised over $1M for two charities:
Mental Wellness Center: A leading provider of mental health support to adults, families, and youth in Santa Barbara County for 77 years, Mental Wellness Center offers mental health education to nearly 5,000 local students, operates a residential services program, and serves individuals and families impacted by mental illness through support groups and social connection programs.
One Mind: Founded in 1995, One Mind is a leading global nonprofit dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for individuals, families, and society. Guided by science and lived experience, One Mind brings more than 30 years of leadership to closing critical gaps between discovery and real-world impact, advancing solutions that improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and well-being at scale. By convening the brightest minds in mental health science and advocacy around a collective vision of “Healthy Minds for All,” One Mind is driving research, accelerating innovation, and transforming workplaces.
