Members of the One Mind community shared a beautiful experience at the “Mental Health is Health” event during J.P. Morgan Healthcare Week earlier this month. The room was buzzing! One guest said that every conversation “felt like a warm blanket on a cold night.” It was an evening filled with optimism and inspiration, possibility and hope.

The annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference is one of the largest conferences focused on healthcare in the U.S. It is a triumph to know that conversations around mental healthcare are not just happening quietly in the wings, they are finally taking the main stage.

The challenges we face in mental healthcare today are systems issues, and we are deeply inspired by the organizational collaboration and collective impact taking place. It has always been true that mental health is health, and the only way we’re going to create meaningful, lasting change is by partnering together.

One Mind is honored to partner with McKinsey Health Institute and The Kennedy Forum, not only as co-hosts of the event, but as steadfast champions in our collaborative efforts to advance mental health outcomes for all. Thank you for your shared commitment to our vision of a world where mental health is a universal priority.

One Mind is also proud to be included, alongside The Kennedy Forum, as a Pathfinder for McKinsey Health Institute’s report on “Stronger Brains in the age of AI”. We know investing in stronger brains is critical to a healthier, more prosperous, and economically advantageous society.

In a time of uncertainty and change, The Kennedy Forum’s strategic initiatives provide stability and direction. Anchored by the 90-90-90 goals, their efforts at both federal and state levels are helping to increase screenings, expand access to treatment, and support long-term recovery— shaping a future-proof mental health and substance use care system.
