Two New Johnson & Johnson – One Mind Rising Star Awardees
One Mind’s Scientific Advisory Board has selected two scientists to receive the Johnson & Johnson / IMHRO Rising Star Translational Research Award in the December 2011 round.
- Scott Russo, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, for his proposal titled “Inflammation and Depression: Translating Basic Discoveries into New Therapeutics”
- Colleen McClung, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychiatry at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, for her proposal titled “Specific HDAC Inhibition as a Novel Treatment for Bipolar Disorder.”
