Exploring Potential ‘Active’ Antidepressants – a Talk by Dr. Ming-Hu Han

Dr. Han describes his ‘Rising Star’ research proposal to develop potential preliminary forms of a new class of ‘active’ antidepressant medications. These potential therapies, when developed, may be able to treat major depression symptoms within hours of first dose, have effects lasting for weeks, and have far fewer side effects than traditional antidepressant medications. Recorded in 2011 at the annual Staglin Music Festival for Mental Health.
