Japan-U.S. Delegation to the New York State Legislature

Haruka Kokaze joined the Consulate General of Japan’s annual high-level Japan-U.S. delegation to the New York State Legislature. The delegation brought together senior leaders from the Japanese business and government community to engage directly with New York State leadership, including a roundtable with members of the State Senate and Assembly on the labor substitutability of AI, a topic at the intersection of workforce mental health and the future of work. The visit underscored the importance of the U.S.-Japan relationship and the role of cross-sector leadership in shaping how emerging technologies affect the workforce.
