Alli Alford

Alli is the Operations Manager for the One Mind Accelerator, overseeing operations and logistics for the program. Alli is a strategic innovation leader with deep expertise across neuroscience, mental health systems, and life sciences R&D. Most recently, she led the UK Government’s £190M+ Mental Health Goals Programme, where she built cross-sector partnerships with industry, researchers, regulators, and lived-experience experts to advance new therapeutics, diagnostics, and care models. Her work spans everything from standing up national translational centres of excellence to shaping regulatory reform and data infrastructure—always with a focus on measurable performance, real-world impact, and equitable access to mental health solutions. 

Before joining the UK Government, Alli gained hands-on experience across the life sciences pipeline, including lab-based drug discovery research at AbbVie and delivering more than 80 high-impact medical education projects for Pfizer and Sandoz during her time at Synergy Medical Communications in Richmond. She also managed major life sciences manufacturing and research funding programmes within the Office for Life Sciences, where her work helped catalyze over £920M of industry investment. She’s known for uniting diverse stakeholders, navigating complex systems, and driving ambitious programmes forward with clarity and momentum.

Outside of work, she brings curiosity and energy to swimming, hiking, skiing, and exploring new parts of the world.
