Samantha Trotman Burman

Samantha Trotman Burman’s background combines experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity firms with a dedication to advocating for and advancing the quality of care, most particularly in the area of mental health.

Samantha found her passion for providing support through her own lived experience navigating the fragmented and inadequate mental health care system. She has been offering her own blend of empathy, support, and resources to countless parents and caregivers over the past 10 years. These experiences led Samantha to establish the Isleworth Group in 2022, offering professional peer-to-peer support to families with social and emotional challenges. In 2024, Samantha founded an umbrella Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), StoryCatch Partners, to help organizations better support families, while translating lived experience into decision-grade data-driven impact.

Samantha’s dedication for forging meaningful connections and helping others inspires her wide array of Board of Directors experience, most recently with Beth Israel Lahey Health as the Chair of the Board of Advisors (Needham); Co-Chair of the Behavior Services Advisory Board (BILH) and with Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) as Co-Chair of the Investment Committee.
Born in the UK, Samantha moved to the Boston area to attend graduate school. She currently lives in a small town in Massachusetts with her husband and four children, and enjoys reading, hiking and boxing training.

Ms. Trotman Burman holds a BA and MEng from Cambridge University, UK and an MBA from Harvard University.
