One Mind Staff

Carmine Di Maro joined One Mind in 2022 as Director of the One Mind Accelerator. His role at One Mind combines two of his greatest passions; supporting world-class entrepreneurs and developing solutions to the mental health crisis. After growing up in an immigrant entrepreneur household and becoming the first person in his family to attend college, he began his own career in startups by joining the Venture for America fellowship in 2016. In his first project, he worked as Chief of Staff for the founding team of a VC-backed startup, leading several multi-million dollar projects in the telecom industry. He then transitioned to portfolio services for Rock Ventures, the family office that owns the Cleveland Cavaliers, Quicken Loans, and 100+ other companies. Most recently, he led startup sourcing and recruiting for the LA office of Techstars, where he focused on healthcare investments and building the LA tech ecosystem. Outside of work, he volunteers with the LA chapter of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers initiative, where he leads a project to develop mental health solutions for LA’s homeless population. Carmine combines his own lived experience navigating depression and anxiety with his background in company building, venture capital and technology to help founders create solutions with the potential to improve the mental health of those who need it most.
