Delusions and the Brain: Translating Theories into Therapies – Dr. Philip Corlett

How do psychotic delusions form? How can delusions be treated at their neurobiological roots? These elusive questions may finally find an answer in the science of Philip Corlett, Ph.D. Based on evidence-supported neurocognitive theory, Dr. Corlett presents his proposal to clinically test whether the drug Retigabine can remedy psychotic delusions in human volunteers. Recorded at One Mind’s Music Festival for Mental Health 2013.
