Her forthcoming Harvard Business Review Press book, The Atypical Achiever: Leading and Thriving When Your Brain is Wired Differently contains groundbreaking research on how neurodivergent professionals navigate leadership, and will be published in 2027. Recognized as a LinkedIn Top 10 Voice in Mental Health and honored with the Mental Health America Media Award, Morra hosts The Anxious Achiever podcast and is the author of The Anxious Achiever (HBR) and Hiding in the Bathroom (HarperCollins). A former political and issue advocacy strategist and advisor to three U.S. Presidential campaigns, Morra lives near Boston with her family.

Rebecca O. Bagley
President & CEO, The Kennedy Forum

In her role as President and CEO, Rebecca oversees the organization’s efforts to advance evidence-based practices, policies, and programming for the equal treatment of mental health and addiction.

She brings over 30 years of experience collaborating with stakeholders through strategic partnerships that achieve shared goals and outcomes. Utilizing a vast professional network of experts and resources to forge partnerships, Rebecca is deeply focused on inspiring cultures of progress and innovation. Prior to joining The Forum, she was CEO of Cannex Scientific, responsible for commercializing a new anti-anxiety medication from Brigham/Harvard Medical School. Earlier in her career, as Vice Chancellor of Economic Partnerships at the University of Pittsburgh, she successfully expanded a network of global partnerships with financial groups, corporations, and government entities to support $850M+ in research. Rebecca was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of NorTech, where she led a national effort to create the Innovation Advocacy Council (IAC), which successfully secured a $50 million line item in the federal budget and contributed to the creation of a $1 billion Build Back Better regional challenge.

Rebecca has been engaged in global efforts and organizations including the Clinton Global Initiative and the federally appointed National Advisory Council on Innovation & Entrepreneurship. She currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA with her family.

David W. Ballard, PsyD, MBA
Vice President, One Mind at Work

Dr. David Ballard is Vice President of One Mind at Work, where he leads the program in its mission to translate science into employer best practices that measurably impact workforce mental health and organizational performance. He partners with One Mind at Work’s global coalition of organizations and senior leaders who are committed to developing and implementing best-in-class workplace mental health programs.

As a psychologist and non-profit executive with more than two decades of experience, Dr. Ballard’s work focuses on organizational effectiveness, occupational health promotion, workforce mental health, program design and evaluation, and systems-level workplace interventions. He has provided research, consultation, and training services to government agencies, industry groups, corporations, private equity firms, medical schools, and universities.

Prior to joining One Mind, Dr. Ballard was at the American Psychological Association, where he led the association’s Office of Applied Psychology, Center for Organizational Excellence, and Psychologically Healthy Workplace Program. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology and his MBA in healthcare administration from Widener University, where he completed concentrations in organizational and forensic psychology.

David Brown
CFO & Principal Engineer, Adobe Associates, Inc.

David Brown has been with Adobe Associates, Inc. since its founding in 1982, and under his leadership, Adobe has become a formidable player in the industry. Dave has enjoyed much success in providing quality engineering and land surveying services to private landowners, private developers, and public agencies in Northern California, especially Sonoma County, for 40 years.

One of Dave’s strong suits is collaborating with clients and consultants during the prelim design phase through entitlement approvals and the construction phase in order to achieve optimum project goals. He provides the project team with technical support and allocates staff resources. As the signing professional civil engineer on project documents, he provides an additional blanket of quality assurance.

Project management experience includes supervision of design teams in the initial feasibility studies and master planning phase for projects of various sizes and the design and preparation of construction drawings and bid documents for a variety of public and private projects. Private projects include Solage Resort in Calistoga where he oversaw the entitlement, design and construction administration for this Resort and it’s offsite improvements.

Improvements consisted of offsite bridge, flood control channel upgrade, water system improvements, new sanitary sewer trunk line and lift station. Other related projects include preparation of plans, specifications, and bid documents for the Santa Rosa Kaiser Hospital expansion projects, Cypress Ridge affordable housing project, and Highway 12/121 improvements for the Sonoma Valley Business Park.

Dave takes pride in Adobe’s growth and continued success, and pleasure in having a part in clients and staff reaching their goals.

Uma R. Chatterjee, M.S., MHPS
One Mind Lived Experience Council Member

Uma R. Chatterjee, M.S., MHPS is an award-winning neuroscientist, science communicator, and mental health advocate. After earning her undergraduate degree as a non-traditional student, she earned her M.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Texas-Dallas. She is currently earning her Ph.D in Neuroscience as a NIH TL1 Predoctoral Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, conducting her thesis research on the neurobiology of OCD and novel therapeutics.  Her work is deeply informed by her lived experience with severe mental illnesses, including OCD, PTSD, depression, and bulimia. She bridges the gap between mental health research and lived experience as a globally invited public speaker, media contributor, science communicator, and host of the podcast ‘A Chat with Uma.’

Newton Cheng
Former Director of Health + Performance at Google, Champion Powerlifter & Mental Health Advocate

Newton Cheng is a husband and father, champion powerlifter, and previously served as Director of Health + Performance at Google. He models and teaches a unique performance-oriented approach to vulnerable leadership that he’s developed throughout his career. His goal is to break the stigma around mental health in the workplace and beyond so that we can achieve our most ambitious goals without sacrificing our ability to take care of ourselves and each other.

Drawing on his unique background at Google as well as his journey to becoming a world champion athlete, he has unique expertise in the intersections of health & wellbeing, and performance of individuals and teams. Despite still working as an executive at Google, Newton has openly shared about his struggles with mental health and burnout in order to model what it looks like to pierce the stigma around mental health.

Exclusively represented by BrightSight Speakers, Newton has spent his 16-year career at Google developing, launching and scaling global programs aimed at helping Googlers to thrive. Today he oversees a global portfolio of Google’s physical and digital health & wellbeing amenities. He spends much of his time exploring how Google can leverage spaces and services, community, culture and technology to support the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of Googlers, their families, and our neighbors.

As a powerlifter, he has set multiple world, US, and California state records, and is a world and 8-time US national champion. Newton was born and raised in Macomb, IL.

He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.

Sondra Davis
CHRO, North Mississippi Health Services

Sondra Davis serves as the chief human resources officer for North Mississippi Health Services. She is responsible for managing recruitment, retention, education, employee health, compensation and benefits for the organization’s employees.

Davis previously worked at Centura Health System in Denver, Colorado, where she served as regional vice president for human resources for the Denver and Mountain markets, comprised of nine hospitals and numerous freestanding emergent/urgent Care centers, outpatient centers and provider practices. She previously served as vice president for human resources with Harnett Health System, based in Dunn, North Carolina, where she also provided leadership for several operational and support services in addition to her human resources scope.

She has more than 20 years of experience in varied settings, with most of that experience in rural healthcare markets.

A native of Colorado, she spent more than 15 years living and working in North Carolina and Georgia. Davis holds a bachelor of science in business from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and a master of science in human resources management from Troy University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute and has a history of strong involvement in her professional organizations and communities.

Patricia deSa, MS
Senior Director, Clinical Consulting, National Mental Health, Wellness, and Addiction Care, Kaiser Permanente

Patricia deSa has oversight for clinical care delivery priorities that span the full continuum of care for mental health and substance use conditions. Since 2015 she has served as the national program lead to build and spread Collaborative Care Management throughout the enterprise, with a focus on fidelity to the evidence-based model, performance improvement, equity-centered design, and quality outcomes.  More recently she partnered with clinical and executive leadership to build and implement a comprehensive Addiction Medicine strategy, and now has accountability for its execution across all KP markets.  In addition to her clinical care delivery leadership role, Patricia 1) has led the integration of equity, inclusion and diversity into mental health and addiction care, and 2) serves on an internal steering committee aimed at expanding and diversifying the community mental health workforce. Patricia has worked for KP since 2002; her tenure includes The Permanente Medical Group, National Health Plan and Hospital Quality, and National Care Delivery Operations.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, and she is a graduate of Cornell University’s Strategic Leadership Program.

Rachel Duncan
People Engagement & Culture, Regional Management, Americas / Chair, dbEnable US, Deutsche Bank

Rachel designs and leads strategic initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, organizational culture, and inclusion for Regional Management Americas. She serves as Chair of dbEnable US, is a certified Mental Health First Aid at Work volunteer and leads the Investment Bank Americas Wellbeing Pillar.

A recognized mental health advocate, Rachel openly shares her lived experience to drive awareness and impact. She has been named to Involve’s Global Enable Role Model List (2023–2025) and received the 2024 Future Human Leader of the Year award at the TLC Lions Human Awards Americas. Rachel also serves on the Council of Advisors for the American Psychiatric Association’s Center for Workplace Mental Health.

Rachel began her career in municipal bonds and brings over 25 years of industry experience, holding a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from New York University.

Harris Eyre, MD, PhD
Executive Director, Global Brain Economy Initiative

Harris is a physician, neuroscientist, entrepreneur, and strategist. Harris is credited for pioneering the brain economy transition across sectors and industries. He is dedicated to fostering awareness, data, tools, investment, and leadership to drive the transition. He is Co-Lead of the Brain & Society Initiative of the Rice Brain Institute, a Faculty Scholar with the Baker Institute for Public Policy, and adjunct with the schools of Engineering and Social Sciences. He is Senior Fellow with The University of Texas Medical Branch, Senior Advisor with the McKinsey Health Institute, and Visiting Senior Fellow with the Wharton Neuroscience Initiative. He has authored over 200 papers and chapters in outlets such as Nature Medicine, Neuron, The Brookings Institution, WEF, and was the lead editor of the book ‘Convergence Brain Health’ (Oxford Press).

Jeff Gorter, MSW, LCSW
Vice President of Clinical Crisis Response, R3 Continuum

Jeff Gorter brings over 30 years of clinical experience including consultation and extensive on-site critical incident response to businesses and communities. He has responded directly to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Hurricane Katrina, the earthquake/tsunami in Japan, the Las Vegas Shooting, the breaching of the US Capitol, the 2023 Hawaii Wildfires, the 2024 Asheville Floods, and the Washington, DC and Louisville Aviation Disasters in 2025, among others. He is a frequently requested speaker at National and International conferences on the intersection of humanitarian concerns and business continuity in disaster response.

Shawn Griffin, MD
President and CEO, URAC

Dr. Shawn Griffin is the first physician to serve as President/ CEO at URAC. He leads one of most trusted independent accrediting organizations in the country and one of the most recognized digital health accreditors in the world.

Shawn is a nationally recognized subject matter expert on health care quality, workplace mental health, rural health, and physician leadership. He is a leading voice on healthcare policy and frequently shares his experiences with regulators and elected officials. He was recently named by Modern Healthcare one of the Top 100 Most Influential People for 2024. He currently serves as a co-chair for the National Quality Forum’s Leadership Consortium.

Shawn previously served as Vice President for Clinical Performance Improvement and Applied Analytics at Premier, Inc. and Chief Quality and Informatics Officer for MHMD—The Memorial Hermann Physician Network in Houston while it was the most successful ACO’s in the country. He was the first Chief Medical Information Officer at both Baylor College of Medicine and Heartland Health. He trained in Rural Family Medicine and practiced in Iowa and Missouri.

Shawn has represented URAC at One Mind at Work since the organization joined in 2021. He also served on the Founding Corporate Council for the Mental Health at Work Index from 2022-2024. Shawn received the 2024 Salus Award for Individual Voices in Workplace Mental Health.

Cathryn Gunther, MSD
Global Head of Culture and Associate Experience, Mars

Cathryn is a health care strategist, innovator and collaborateur, working across public and private sectors. She founded a boutique consulting agency directed at enhancing the performance of organizations dedicated to improving population health. She specializes in developing strategies and delivering transformational collaborations that create greater health impact for patients, health care consumers and populations in need. Recently, Cathryn launched MSD’s Global Population Health, establishing the corporate framework for innovative population health approaches that create sustained social and business value. This work includes advancing the company’s thought leadership to improve patient and community health literacy through the application of evidence based health literacy principles. Cathryn leads the company’s workforce wellbeing strategy, and supports a number of population health advancements in antimicrobial stewardship, prevention through immunization, women’s health and noncommunicable diseases. She serves on the Health Evolution Summit Leadership Committee, and on the Boards of the National Business Group on Health and the Grand View Health Foundation. She is a member of the Global Chief Medical Officers Network, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Global Reporting Initiative Task Force and Advisory Council for the ‘Culture of Health for Business’. Cathryn is married, a mother of 3 and a practicing equestrian.

Tracie Ibrahim, LMFT, CST
One Mind Lived Experience Council Member; Chief Compliance Officer, NOCD

Tracie Ibrahim, LMFT, CST is a mental health executive, licensed clinician, and advocate with more than 30 years of experience across diverse behavioral health settings. Her work has focused on developing and delivering specialized, evidence-based assessments and treatments for individuals across the lifespan, while helping expand access to high-quality mental health care through both non-profit and private program development and clinical leadership.

As Chief Compliance Officer for the world’s largest digital specialty mental health treatment company NOCD/Noto, Tracie leads initiatives focused on implementing and maintaining evidence-based treatment models while ensuring strong clinical and regulatory compliance standards. Her work supports the delivery of effective, ethical care at scale. An important focus of her efforts is dedicated to promoting lived experience perspectives, ensuring staff feel engaged and able to thrive in the flexibilities offered, aimed at supporting a true work/life balance.

In addition, Tracie is the owner of Specialized Psychological Services, where she has spent more than two decades developing specialized workshops, providing clinician training, and delivering direct therapeutic services. She is also a member of the One Mind Lived Experience Council and serves as a Global Advocate for the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), contributing her expertise and voice to national and global mental health advocacy efforts.

Tracie’s commitment to advocacy is deeply personal. Having managed her own SMIs including, but not limited to, severe, medication-resistant OCD, treatment-resistant Persistent Depressive Disorder, and PTSD since early childhood—and raising three children with SMIs and neurodivergence—she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. This perspective fuels her dedication to reducing stigma, improving access to effective treatment, and promoting systems that better support individuals and families navigating complex mental health challenges.

Through leadership, grassroots program development, and fierce advocacy, Tracie continues to champion a future where evidence-based mental health care is accessible, compassionate, and informed by both science and lived experience.

Linea Johnson
CEO & Founder of The Thrive Shift

Linea Johnson, CEO and Founder of The Thrive Shift, is a communication and change management professional, passionate advocate, and educator for mental health and disability empowerment. She holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Leadership from Brown University and a Change Management certificate from Cornell University. Co-author of Perfect Chaos with her mother, Cinda Johnson, Linea has published numerous articles and delivered hundreds of keynotes and workshops on mental health and self-determination. Leveraging her expertise and lived experience with mental illness, she collaborates with organizations to promote a more inclusive and compassionate world. In her free time, she enjoys books, the performing arts, and spending time with her husband and blue-tailed poodle.

Stephan Lammel, PhD
Neuroscientist, Associate Professor, UC Berkeley, One Mind Rising Star Awardee
 
Stephan Lammel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroscience and the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at the University of California, Berkeley. His research lies at the interface of neural circuit function and behavior, with a current focus on identifying core principles and mechanisms underlying dopamine signaling in reinforcement learning and motivated behavior. His lab applies a range of systems neuroscience approaches, including optical, electrophysiological and molecular methods, to interrogate neural function in intact brains. He has received many prestigious awards including a Neurobiology of Brain Disorder Award from the McKnight Foundation, Rising Star Translational Award from the One Mind Foundation, Merck Innovation Cup Award, NARSAD Young Investigator Award as well as the C.J. Herrik Award in Neuroanatomy. Lammel earned his PhD in Neuroscience from Philipps-University Marburg in Germany (2008), working with Jochen Roeper, and completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford University with Robert Malenka (until 2014).

Julie Marshall, PhD
Chief of Clinical Psychology ReviveHealth, Inc.

Julie Marshall is Chief of Clinical Psychology for Revive’s mental health services division, where she oversees day-to-day operations and service delivery across EAP and behavioral health services. In this role, Julie is responsible for ensuring high-quality, accessible support for members and employer partners while leading operational strategy, performance management, and cross-functional integration. Her work is focused on service stability, scalability, and continuous improvement as Revive continues to grow and evolve. With more than 30 years of experience in the EAP and behavioral health space, Julie brings deep operational expertise grounded in a strong clinical foundation. Previously, she held the Chief Operating Officer role at Canopy Wellbeing. She specializes in building and leading high-performing operations, translating complex clinical and organizational needs into practical, reliable systems that support both care delivery and client experience. Julie partners closely with enterprise leadership to align operations with growth objectives, quality standards, and long-term organizational goals.

Melody E. McClain
Director, Benefit Programs, Levi Strauss & Co.

Melody McClain currently serves as the Director, Benefits Programs within the Global Total Rewards Department of Levi Strauss and Company.  She manages all US health and welfare plans with oversight of well-being programs that cover corporate, retail and distribution center employees.  Melody joined Levi Strauss in 2020 and has over 25 years of experience in benefits spanning several industries including health care, education and consumer products.  Prior to working with LS&Co., Melody served as the Regional Manager, Benefits and Wellness for Sutter Health – East Bay as well as the Executive Director, Health and Benefits at City Colleges of Chicago.  She is a Purchasers Business Group on Health Board Member and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Dr. Monika Misra
Global Head of Associate Health and Wellbeing, Mars Inc

Dr. Monika Misra is Global Head of Associate Health and Wellbeing at Mars Incorporated, an American multinational manufacturer of confectionery, pet food, and other food products and a provider of animal care services.

She is a family physician by background and a specialist in Occupational Medicine, which she has practiced within the public and corporate sectors, including the pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods and animal care services industries.

Dr. Misra’s experience includes setting global workplace wellbeing and mental health strategies and leading occupational health and wellbeing teams to operationalize these.

She has a strong passion for supporting leaders to enhance workplace culture and the employee experience, to create a positive environment for their people to thrive. She has her own business, coaching executives and their teams to maximise their performance, through enhancing their health and energy, in order to lead more fulfilling lives, both within and outside of work.

Her book, ‘Healthy High Performance’, addresses how leaders and organizations can achieve sustainable high-performance, through proven practical and tangible actions that prioritize holistic wellbeing.

Outside of work she enjoys gardening, yoga and spending time outdoors. She lives in London with her husband and two boys.

Neil Parikh
Co-Founder, Slingshot AI (2025 One Mind Accelerator)

Neil Parikh is co-founder of Slingshot AI, the company building Ash, an AI-powered emotional wellness platform. Slingshot’s mission is to help scale access to care for the next billion people, bringing high-quality mental health support to anyone with a phone. Previously, Neil co-founded Casper, the global sleep company, where he helped pioneer the sleep category and grow Casper into one of the most recognizable direct-to-consumer brands of the last decade. Casper went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2020. Neil is also an active angel investor with positions in more than 200 startups across consumer, health, and artificial intelligence. Across his operating work and investments, the throughline is building consumer companies around human wellbeing. He graduated from Brown University and lives in New York City.

Kathleen M. Pike, MD
CEO, One Mind

As a globally recognized mental health expert, Dr. Pike joined One Mind as President and CEO of One Mind at Work in 2023 and became CEO of One Mind in 2024. Prior to joining One Mind, Kathy founded and directed the Columbia University World Health Organization Center for Global Mental Health and led the Center’s Mental Health + Work Design Lab where she provided thought leadership, content expertise, scientific research, and strategic guidance on advancing mental health at work. Dr. Pike holds a faculty appointment at Columbia University’s Department of Psychiatry and School of Public Health and continues to direct the Center’s Mental Health + Work Design Lab. Kathy has received multiple awards for her work advancing mental health including the 2021 American Psychological Association Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology. A passionate beekeeper and cyclist, when not at work, Kathy can be found tending her apiary and cycling in beautiful places around the world.

Jon Portman
Creative Director, Simply Protein for Pets

Jon Portman is an award-winning director and creative leader with 13 years of experience across film, brand, and advertising. In 2014, Jon co-founded Oxbow, a creative agency specializing in brand design, strategy, and animation, where he served as the creative director for five years. In 2019, Jon founded Very Big Boy, an animation production company, where he serves as director and executive producer. His award-winning films have played internationally at Academy Award and BAFTA-Qualifying festivals. In 2021, Jon co-founded Gentle Beast, a consumer start-up focused on making dog training more accessible. Jon currently serves as the Creative Director at Simply Protein for Pets, where he leads brand and design across their portfolio. Jon received his BA in Architectural Studies from Middlebury College. He lives and works in San Francisco.

Sarah Rauzin, MPH, CPH
Director and Lead, Health Strategy & Insight, Meteorite

Sarah Rauzin is a public health strategist and cross-sector collaborator advancing workplace-driven solutions to today’s most urgent health challenges. As Director and Lead of Health Strategy & Insight at Meteorite, the organization behind the Health Action Alliance, she helps employers translate complex public health issues into clear, actionable strategies that support employee well-being and strengthen business resilience.

Sarah blends evidence-based approaches from Motivational Interviewing and Collective Impact into program design, meeting organizations where they are and centering co-creation in the process of achieving lasting change. Her work spans a wide range of issues, including mental health, women’s health, respiratory health, chronic conditions, and MSD prevention.

Tahilia Rebello, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer, One Mind

As Chief Scientific Officer at One Mind, Tahilia oversees the One Mind Rising Star Academy, where she leads initiatives that integrate science, research, training, and education across One Mind to drive progress in neuroscience and mental health. She focuses on translating scientific discovery into real-world impact, collaborating with researchers and organizations to advance high-impact research and develop practical solutions, including trainings and educational programs.

With 18 years of experience in mental health, Dr. Rebello earned her PhD from Columbia University, studying the long-term effects of early-life stress and trauma. She later trained at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Switzerland, shifting her focus to public health and global mental health. She has held scientific, leadership, and consultancy roles at WHO, the WHO-Columbia Collaborating Center for Global Mental Health, the Africa Mental Health Training and Research Foundation, and Columbia University, where she remains an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry.

Her previous work includes supporting WHO’s mental health guidelines, managing global research on detecting and diagnosing mental health conditions, building clinician training platforms, and developing programs in East Africa and Japan to address mental health and trauma.

Dr. Rebello finds deep personal connection between nature and mental health, seeing in it a reflection of constant evolution, resilience, and growth. Being outdoors provides her with clarity, renewal, and a space for learning—values she brings into her work, where she remains committed to ensuring that scientific progress leads to meaningful improvements in mental health care and well-being worldwide.

Hana J. Shin, PhD
Head of Global Mental Well-Being Strategy, Johnson & Johnson

Dr. Hana Shin is the Head of Global Mental Well-Being Strategy at Johnson & Johnson and a clinical psychologist licensed to practice in California and New York. At Johnson & Johnson, she is responsible for the development and evolution of employee mental well-being strategy and implementation that positively impacts the total health of J&J employees and leaders across the globe.

Prior to joining J&J, Dr. Shin served 12 years with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), providing direct service to military Veterans and families, program administration and evaluation of mental health services across multiple health care systems, and academic clinical teaching and training programs. She has consulted for nongovernmental organizations across the globe with a focus on mental health disparities among communities recovering from complex trauma exposure. Her clinical research publication record is in the areas of health care utilization and trauma recovery across the lifespan.

Dr. Shin completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology (APA- accredited). Brandon Staglin, MS
Co-Founder & Chief Advocacy and Engagement Officer, One Mind

As One Mind’s Co-founder and Chief Advocacy & Engagement Officer, Brandon Staglin channels his deep experience in leadership, advocacy, and personal schizophrenia recovery to drive mental health innovation and community engagement to heal lives. With years of successful advocacy for science-driven advances in early intervention for youth facing severe mental illness, he has emerged as a champion for the elevation of lived experience-based guidance to shape the future of mental health systems. His current work includes a focus on assisting employers to successfully hire, retain, and benefit from the unique skills of workers with lived mental illness experience.

In addition, Brandon serves as a Board Director for Research!America. He has served on guiding councils of global, national and regional influence including for the World Economic Forum, the National Institute of Mental Health, the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health, the State of California, and more. Brandon’s work has been featured in such journals as Forbes and Scientific American, and he has earned numerous advocacy awards. He has earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Interprofessional Leadership from UCSF, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Engineering Sciences and Anthropology from Dartmouth College.

Philip N. Swayze, MS, CWPD
Vice President, Population Health & Wellbeing, HUB International New England LLC

Philip Swayze is the Vice President of Population Health and Wellbeing for HUB International in the New England Region.  In this role, he provides strategic wellbeing consulting and population health management support to HUB clients. He works closely with the Employee Benefits Teams, Regional Actuarial, Clinical and Pharmacy Consultants on client data analysis, program design, implementation and evaluation.  He was a “Captain’s Pick” for the 2026 NE Sales Century Club Awards.

Prior to working with HUB, Philip managed his own wellbeing consulting and marketing strategy practice. He has 25 years of experience working in consulting, sales, product development, marketing, and communications within the healthcare field. Over the years, he has worked for Abacus Health Solutions, Plus One Health Management, The Health & Wellness Institute, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, and PR firms MS&L and Ketchum.

Philip stays active in the health and well-being field through his work with the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO) where he has been a Think Tank member for the past 20 years. He is the Chair of the Workforce Mental Health Workgroup, and has helped co-author several white papers. Philip also volunteers as a public speaker for the New England Employee Benefits Council and is past Board Co-Chair with the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts.

Philip has helped HUB clients earn regional and national awards. He has a master’s of science in public relations from Golden Gate University and a bachelors in psychology from the University of Vermont. He is also a Certified Wellness Program Director.  Outside of his expansive industry engagement, Philip enjoys concerts with his 20-something kids, goes on amazing adventures with his distance runner wife and long walks in New England with their dogs Penny and Rue.

Dr. Nick Taylor
CEO & Co-founder, Unmind

From a young age, Nick had a deep fascination with the human mind. This passion guided him, whilst studying his undergraduate degree in music, to volunteer with the crisis helpline the Samaritans and then as a support worker for the UKs leading mental health charity, Mind. Following these experiences Nick returned to university to study a psychology degree and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Sheffield, and embarked on a career with the National Health Service as a Clinical Psychologist. While leading a team in the NHS, Nick became interested in how organisations can better support their employees mental health, and how organisations can benefit from taking a more preventative approach to the topic. He left the NHS in 2017 to start Unmind.

George Vergolias, PsyD, CTM

George joined R3 in 2012 and leads R3’s clinical team using a multi-disciplined and collaborative model to ensure clinical excellence and optimal outcomes across all service lines. He has grown innovative clinical programs from inception to national and international recognition and achieved best-practice clinical outcomes in a variety of applied clinical settings—outpatient clinics, hospitals, emergency departments, correctional facilities, and corporations. George holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School, with internship training at the Durham VA Medical Center and Duke University Medical Center, and post-doctoral training in forensic psychology affiliated with the University of Notre Dame. He is an active member of APA, NCPA, ASIS, the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, and several advisory boards focused on risk mitigation.

Emily Wolfe, MSW, LCSW

Emily Wolfe serves as the Director of Program Operations for One Mind at Work, where she supports efforts to develop and execute high-impact content and programming, and manages systems, including Mental Health at Work Index processes, to ensure operational excellence. Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience in workplace health promotion and supporting worker well-being. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design & Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master of Clinical Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a concentration in adult mental health. She has over 15 years of professional experience across various business sectors, including healthcare, oncology, clinical care management, workforce mental health and well-being programming and research, transitional community housing, private mental health practice, and climate justice.

A licensed psychologist, researcher, and recognized thought leader, Dr. Wright develops forward‑looking approaches to expand access, strengthen quality and measurement, improve system‑level efficiency, and modernize how care is delivered in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. A trusted voice in federal policy, Dr. Wright has provided invited expert testimony to key government bodies, where she offered guidance on the oversight and impact of emerging digital health technologies. Dr. Wright’s research portfolio spans some of psychology’s most respected journals, including American Psychologist, Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, and Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice.
