Katie Bush is the founder and CEO of KBD, one of Silicon Valley’s most sought-after strategic design and consulting firms. Centered in the technology ecosystem for more than two decades, Katie’s firm has worked with some of the biggest names in venture and technology, including Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock, Mayfield, M12, DFJ, IVP, Icon Ventures, and others, as well hundreds of startups from seed to exit. Katie’s nuanced understanding and relationships with the venture community—as well as heavy experience in taking complex enterprise products to market—has resulted in helping her clients raise more than $4B in venture capital in the last 5 years alone.

Over the past two years, Katie has begun conducting workshops with early stage companies to accelerate the process (and significantly ease the stress) of raising capital, from scripting the pitch and designing the deck, to building the data room, to connecting with the right investors.

Katie holds a BFA from Georgetown University, is the founder of the Georgetown Technology Alliance and recipient of the university’s Gaston Award. She serves on the boards of a number of non-profits and early stage startups and speaks regularly as an advocate for women in the technology community.
