ENGLISH TRANSLATION: Most people know what it’s like to overeat from time to time, but for some people overeating can become a real problem. In this video, Dr. Sandra Vexler describes some of the signs and symptoms of binge eating disorder and what kind of treatments are available. Is binge eating a disorder? What is binge eating disorder? What treatments exist for binge eating disorder? Eating disorders can affect a person’s daily life and have a negative impact on their mental health. Thankfully, there are many treatments available for people who may be struggling with binge eating disorder, or other eating disorders, or for people who have an unhealthy relationship with food in general. Treatment may be in the form of therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and/or medication. Watch this video to learn more about binge eating disorder and how to get help.
