Launched in 2023, the One Mind Accelerator backs visionary founders of early-stage startups with the network, education, and capital to rapidly build category-defining companies that improve the lives of people living with mental illness. Using seed investment of $100,000 per company, One Mind leverages its vast network of world-class investors, founders, operators, scientists, payers, providers, policymakers, and lived experience advocates to accelerate the cohort’s path to startup success. By supporting emerging companies through the program, One Mind seeks to positively impact the lives of people facing mental health challenges by advancing precision psychiatry, and making high quality mental healthcare more accessible, affordable, and equitable. Since the inception of the program, One Mind has offered more than 100 workshops and panels, equivalent to 300 hours of programming, over 300+ hours of 1:1 mentorship, and connected founders to over 450 people in the One Mind network, including 30+ top investors in the healthcare industry.
The Mental Health at Work Index is a first-of-its-kind assessment tool that provides objective feedback on the maturity of an organization’s pre-existing workplace mental health programs. The Index enables companies to establish a baseline maturity of their mental health programs, identifies priority areas that will accelerate the impact of their efforts, and provides evidence-based resources and guidance to support more strategic and efficient use of resources for improved outcomes. Beyond the broader goal of improving workplace mental health, the index aims to build a robust database which can provide benchmarks and powerful insights to support organizations across industries, geographies. Since launch, organizations including Bank of America, AXA, Aon, HCA Healthcare, and nearly 50 more – representing over 2 million workers globally – have now used the Index to measure their workplace mental health efforts, which is available in 7 different languages.
