New Appointees Include Christopher Lyle, Formerly of Google and Sequoia Capital, and Harvey Schwartz, Formerly of Goldman Sachs
RUTHERFORD, Calif. – May 19, 2021 – One Mind, a leading mental health and brain research nonprofit, has announced the addition of two seasoned executives and investors, Christopher Lyle and Harvey Schwartz, to the organization’s board of directors, effective immediately.
As board members, Lyle and Schwartz will provide valuable insights and perspective towards the strategy of One Mind’s multitude of initiatives. Among these initiatives, both Lyle and Schwartz intend to play active roles in the One Mind Catalyst Fund, which comprises charitable donations that invest in for-profit companies to further knowledge, treatment and cures for brain health issues, and One Mind at Work, which is a global coalition of leaders from diverse sectors with a vision to unite CEOs and global leaders to transform brain health in the workplace.
Lyle is currently a managing partner at Skyline Capital, having previously served as an advisor for Google and chief of business for Google Cloud. Prior to Google, he founded Sequoia Capital Global Equities, a public and late-stage private fund focused on leading technology companies, and acted as managing partner and portfolio manager. In addition to leading the Global Equities business, Lyle served on the global management committee for all of Sequoia’s investment funds.

Schwartz is a business leader, investor and philanthropist. For more than 30 years, his professional focus centered on tackling complex financial and business challenges, innovating and strengthening financial markets and developing leaders. Schwartz retired from Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in 2018 following more than 20 distinguished years at the company where he oversaw sales and trading, finance, technology and operations. He completed his tenure as the firm’s president and co-chief operating officer.
