Laurel Burgam is a Social Media Manager and Content Creator, specializing in strategic digital storytelling that engages millions of viewers across social platforms. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a major in Film Production and a minor in Child & Adolescent Psychology, Laurel utilizes her skills to foster empathy, inclusivity, and optimism online.

Before joining One Mind, Laurel served as a Video Editor and Producer at The Dodo, amplifying activists’ voices and fostering discussions on animal welfare. At Twiddy & Company, she spearheaded social marketing campaigns that significantly expanded their online presence. Laurel has collaborated with nonprofits such as Arm in Arm and Beach Food Pantry, and her involvement in film projects addressing diverse social issues has earned her recognition, including the Cayman National Cultural Foundation Scholarship and an NYU Wasserman Award.

Driven by her personal experiences with mental illness, as well as those of her family and friends, Laurel is deeply committed to One Mind’s mission. Through her work, she aims to raise awareness, advocate for social causes, and dismantle stigmas surrounding brain health.
